Airtel – Customer service providing false details and very poor customer service

I am using Airtel prepaid number. My phone number is 9650845969. While checking my 3G balance. I got additional information. ” Unlimited 3G @ Rs . 655″. I called customer service team on same day to confirm about that deal and specially about the Internet speed and if there is any limit of 3G data and speed . The customer service representative informed me that I will get unlimited 3G data for 28 day at same 3G speed. After confirm with customer representative I made a recharge of Rs. 655. The internet speed was fine upto 3gb data and then speed was getting very low even I was not getting 2G speed. I called customer service and informed about the same. The representative informed me that the 3G data limit was only upto 3gb only and then speed will be down @80kbps. I asked him then I was told that I will get unlimited 3G data speed for 28 days. Then the representative told me in very rudely way that this is the speed this plan and he can’t do anything in it and cut the phone. I called 121 team again but got same response. Then I called 198 to complaint about the same but they also told me that in Rs 655 recharge I will get 3G speed upto 3gb data and after that unlimited internet @80kbps and did not registered any complaint. After that I send mail to nodalofficer.del@in.airtel.com about my query. They replied also I received a call from +919971003835. A person Manoj called me an told me that I need to maintain at least Rs 5 Balance in my Airtel number and then I will get proper speed. And if I face any issue I can call on that same number.

After this conversation I made a recharge of Rs 100 and then I also got very worst speed even a Web page can’t open in my phone also no internet connectivity with my apps. I called back on same number but I was unable to connect with Manoj. His colleagues picked up the phone and told me that they will inform Manoj and I will get call back within 10minutes but I never got any callback I tried multiple times on different days but I got same response that I will callback within 10 minutes and then they cut off the phone and did not hear my query. I also sent mail on same email address but did not get any reply of that mail and never got callback from Manoj.

Then I called 121 customer service again and informed that I am not getting even @80kbps speed as they later promised me. The customer service representative informed me that he will transferring my call to their technical department but they cut the call. I called back again and they registered my complaint about low internet speed. I was just getting 2-10bps and even none of my apps unable to connect to internet. On same day I got message.

“Ref.no.C3GSP30428144249 ka update:Aapke airtel mobile par data browsing samasya ka samadhan kar diya gaya hai.Seva shuru karne ke liye mobile ko switch OFF/ON kijiye.Samasya rehne
par, SMS kijiye MO 54321 par”

I did all the steps as mentioned above. Bug there is no any improvement in my internet speed.

Again I called customer service and they registered my complaint again. And I got same message again after few minutes.

“Ref.no.C3GSP30428389471 ka update:Aapke airtel mobile par data browsing samasya ka samadhan kar diya gaya hai.Seva shuru karne ke liye mobile ko switch OFF/ON kijiye.Samasya rehne par, SMS kijiye MO 54321 par.”

I did the same as mentioned above but still the Internet speed is worst about 10bps.

I again called to customer service THIS TIME I GOT 1 MORE INFORMATION THAT IN MY RS.655 RECHARGE I WILL GET 3G SPEED UPTO 3GB DATA AND 80kbps SPEED UPTO 3GB DATA THIS IS THE LIMITED DATA WHICH I CAN USE IN THIS PLAN. MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT WHY DIDN’T THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE INFORMED ME ALL THE INFORMATION WHEN I CALLED FIRST TIME WHEN I CALLED THEM TO GET THE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PLAN. ALSO WHY THEY (AIRTEL) CALLED THIS AS UNLIMITED 3G @RS. 655 THIS IS SUCH A FAKE ADVERTISMENT TO GET INTO POCKET OF CUSTOMERS.

Again the customer representative registered my complaint. And after few minutes I got same message.

“Ref.no.C3GSP30429592073 ka update:Aapke airtel mobile par data browsing samasya ka samadhan kar diya gaya hai.Seva shuru karne ke liye mobile ko switch OFF/ON kijiye.Samasya rehne par, SMS kijiye MO. 54321 par.”

Still same worst speed after followed all the steps again BUT SPEED STILL WORST. HOWEVER I SHOULD GET 3G SPEED AS INFORMED BY CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TO ME WHEN I CALL ED FIRST TIME.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TALKING VERY RUDELY TO THE CUSTOMERS AND PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION.

AIRTEL SHOULD REFUND MY MONEY BACK AS THEY PROVIDE ME FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PLAN.
